Bozeman Experience-‘The Little Red House’
Imagine retreating to ‘Old Town’ Montana with hints of the ‘Wild West’ but with a twist of the modern vibe. Original brick and hardwood floors take you back to Bozeman’s beginning when the town was first settled in 1864 as a stop on a mining trail to Virginia City. Whether coming to Bozeman to shut down and take in all the sites or planning to work remotely with a change of scenery, picture waking up to the view of fresh snowfall or to the luscious summer green while ending your day soaking in a clawfoot tub. With original character details that date back to 1884, you will surely appreciate the history of the ‘Little Red House’ located in the heart of downtown Bozeman and complete with thoughtful modern amenities.
Open the door to the rustically modern living room that comes equipped with a wood burning stove and desk area. The remastered kitchen and dining room make staying in and cooking a delight while you peer out the floor-to-ceiling windows to the backyard. Off the kitchen there is a large storage closet perfect for hanging up your skis and gear after a long day on the slopes. The main floor bathroom features a welcoming claw foot tub, separate stand up shower, comfortable linens, and bath salts for a soak in the tub after a long day.
Also, on the main floor is the first bedroom that welcomes you with high quality luxury bedding, a Smart TV, and black out blinds.
Upstairs, you will find a large open space with two sleeping quarters. We invite you to unwind in the newly redone space that offers a large Smart TV, tons of family friendly games, and extra shelving for guests to unpack. The space offers a full-size bed and a queen-size bed that are both equipped with high quality luxury linens, comfortable mattresses, and designed with comfort in mind.
Unwind at this downtown cottage that was lovingly redone and stocked for guests to enjoy a Montana experience. Think Legends of the Fall with a modern makeover. The huge backyard lends itself to warm summer nights barbequing while reminiscing about the daytrip to Yellowstone, rafting down a local river or hiking one of the several nearby trails. In the winter, enjoy the convenience of taking to the slopes, coming home, and lighting a fire in the fireplace while you plan your next adventure or your next workday.
Location is everything when traveling and this house does not disappoint. With kids, work, and life as inspiration for design, this home was thoughtfully planned for hosting out of town guests. The historic cottage is stocked (board games, thoughtful kitchen utensils, pots and pans, dinner ware, cooking appliances, air purifier, and comfortable sleeping quarters) and is located just 1 block from downtown Bozeman. Shops, restaurants, local breweries/distilleries, and art galleries are a short 2-minute walk from the house. The North Entrance of Yellowstone is a short 80 miles through Paradise Valley to the East, while the West Entrance of Yellowstone is a short 80 miles the other direction. Winter skiing is also convenient with Bridger Bowl Ski Lodge just a short and scenic 16 miles Northeast and Big Sky Resort 35 miles South West through Gallatin Canyon. Day trips and adventures are endless in every direction. The activities, convenience, and thoughtful appointments of comfort will only enhance your magical Montana experience. Settle in and stay awhile.

Our family stayed for four nights. This house was a great home base for Bridger, Bozeman Hot Springs, Downtown Bozeman, and more. Location was great. Check in was seamless with an email with lockbox code. House was beyond clean, cute, and smelled good. Our family appreciated that this wasn't just another cookie cutter house. It had real Bozeman personality. This house was perfect for our family of four (kids 10&14.) The kids were upstairs with their own bed-nooks and smart tv. (Note that it's not a good place for anyone tall to sleep due to ceiling clearance. Even a kid bumped his head. We placed large beanbags as reminders where not to walk.) The upstairs had its own heating/cooling unit which was nice. Lots of great touches throughout. Nice fenced backyard with seating, horseshoes, and a grill. Aveda bath products, fancy bath salts, laundry room, nice storage. Beds were comfy. Nice eating areas in the kitchen. Montana themed artwork and decorations. Host was very responsive to a couple questions I had. Would highly recommend the Little Red House! -VRBO Review

The house was nice and had a convenient location to everything we needed. The driveway and sidewalks were shoveled when we arrived and the house prepared for guests to arrive. We had no issues during our stay that required us to contact the host, but the host still reached out to ensure everything was to our liking. Would definitely stay again. -AirBnB Review

The little red house was perfect for the two of us. It is really well furnished will all the basic amenities plus some fun spa like bathroom touches! The kitchen is really well furnished with a number of cast iron cookware, great selection of spices (which is rare in a rental), and plenty of cleaning products. This property really felt like home and we can wait to book again soon. -VRBO Review

Nearly everything was thought of from cookie sheets to dryer sheets and everything in between. I would recommend this space for anyone looking to really enjoy all that Bozeman has to offer.
